AND IT IS FURTHER HEREBY PROCLAIMED by the Governor

in Council in virtue and exercise of the powers aforesaid as

follows:-

For a period of three years from the 17th day of

April, 1925, no person, company, corporation or partnership

shall, either on his or its own behalf or on behalf of any

other person, company, corporation or partnership of

whatever nationality, export to China or any Concession,

Settlement, or Leased Territory in China any of the

following articles:-

(1) Arms, guns or explosives of any description,

exclusive of sporting weapons and ammunition

therefor;

(2) Aeroplane engines and their component parts; (3) Aircraft of all kinds and their component parts,

together with accessories and articles suitable

for use in connection with aircraft.

Given at Singapore, this 16th day of April, 1925.

Note.- For the purpose of the above Proclamation -

"Arms" includes a firearm, air-guns, eir-pistols, automatic

guns, automatic pistols and guns, or any other kind of

gun from which any shot, bullet or other missile can be

discharged or noxious fumes can be emitted, end bayonets,

swords, daggers, spears and spear-heads.

"Gun" includes howitzers, morters, quick-firing and machine-

guns and other guns of a similar nature.
